We thoroughly explain Denver’s new Healthy Rentals for All Licensing Program. We offer training videos upon request. We also highlight common issues and best practices for addressing them.
For large multi-unit properties, we use a certified random number generator to identify the rental units within your property that need to be inspected and document the unit selection process for your files.
Our certified inspectors go onsite and perform a thorough inspection of each identified rental unit using the city-provided, 26-point Residential Rental Inspection Checklist. We document all of our findings, both good and bad, with detailed inspection notes and photographs.
During our inspection, we identify and photograph any issues that do not comply with city regulations and provide a comprehensive punch list of items that need to be addressed. We also provide resource suggestions as needed for the required work.
When rental owners and managers have addressed non-compliant items on their issue punch list, your CCI Inspector revisits the unit to certify these issues are successfully resolved.
At the completion of our rental unit inspection work, you’ll have a completed Residential Rental Inspection Checklist for each of the identified units on your property and all the documentation needed to file for licensing. Your detailed inspection information will be stored in a secure environment for future access.
